Whether a growing family needing the largest of homes, a cool near city pad for young professionals or something to down-size to, Lightsview has the perfect solution to meet your lifestyle needs.

Our focus has been to promote high quality homes on efficiently used allotments – all surrounded by extensive

connected walking and cycling paths, beautifully crafted parks and reserves and carefully considered local shopping and public transport linkages. It all makes for an easy, welcoming lifestyle.

Lightsview is again proving its commitment to open community spaces with the new Central Park – an addition that will greatly expand the suburb’s already-significant network of green spaces by introducing elements like wetlands, interactive play equipment and landscaped gardens.

Part of the evolution of Lightsview’s new central precinct, Central Park is a huge network of parks designed to provide residents with the chance to enjoy the outdoors in a dizzying variety of ways.

Fanning out from the piazza, which is near Lightsview’s new release of apartments and the retail and dining precinct, Central Park begins with a series of structured landscape gardens and water features. These provide the perfect hangout for older kids spending time with friends, or adults looking for a few minutes’ peace.

Walking down, a series of terraced lawns offer ample room to spread out and lead down to the nature play precinct. Here, kids will be delighted by their options for climbing, swinging and jumping on a collection of nature themed facilities, all built using the latest and safest materials.

A series of wetlands sits beyond the playground. The sprawling system gives residents a chance to get back to nature, but is also punctuated by useful amenities like decking, fitness stations and integrated walking, jogging and cycling trails.

At a cost of $7 million dollars, the Central Park precinct is a significant investment for Lightsview, but one which is made worthwhile by the value each and every resident gets from it.

Designed as part of the suburb’s larger park network, this new addition is just further evidence that the team at Lightsview understand how green space can foster a better lifestyle, happier community and healthier individuals.

And that’s worth more than any amount of money.

Our network of more than 14.9ha of landscaped parks and reserves, each connected by walking and cycling trails and all designed to provide a welcoming space to relax or play, are easily accessible. Every home is within 300m from a major park; most within 200m!

Neighbourhood parks include a mix of spaces large enough for kicking a football, playgrounds for younger children, shade structures, BBQ’s and shaded seating.

Since its inception, Lightsview’s master plan includes provision for a future town centre, to be located in the precinct framed by the Sales and Information Centre, the existing Northgate Village Shopping Centre and land on which the Urban Lights Café is positioned at the intersection of Folland Avenue and Fosters Road.

A re-zoning of these areas was completed in December 2012 that paves the way for our vision that comprises an eclectic mix of ground floor shops and cafes, commercial and retail tenancies and apartment development up to 5-storeys in height.

Less than 8km from the city, life at Lightsview is made so much easier with quick access to established local shopping, integrated public transport networks, linked parks and reserves no more than 300m from any home,

and the convenience of sporting clubs, schools, medical services already active in the local area.
